I once read something someone wrote about relationships and how they lose their appeal.
This person placed relationships in comparison to owning a new vehicle: You’re excited when you first get it, brag about it to friends, show it off to family until other models come out and suddenly your car loses its appeal and you want a change.
I don’t know why this popped in my head just now, but I completely agree. With so much variety, its hard to stay content with what’s already in your possession.
