Death to “4footwonder”
…you have fought long and hard to see this day come and I’ll finally give you the gratification you’ve been longing for. All those hours you spent brewing up emails and so on has finally paid off. Give yourself a round of applause, you win.
Lately a lot of people been sayin’ fuck me; only problem is they telling everyone BUT me.
I once read something someone wrote about relationships and how they lose their appeal.
This person placed relationships in comparison to owning a new vehicle: You’re excited when you first get it, brag about it to friends, show it off to family until other models come out and suddenly your car loses its appeal and you want a change.
I don’t know why this popped in my head just now, but I completely agree. With so much variety, its hard to stay content with what’s already in your possession.
Forgive and forget. That’s what they say. It’s good advice, but it’s not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled, old wounds never heal…and the most we can hope for, is that one day we’ll be lucky enough to forget.
